As mentioned in the previous posting for release 3.51, Bluehill 3 is now available for use on Instron static torsion systems. The Torsion Application Module is intended for use on static MT Torsion models. The module includes the Torsion and Torsion Relax/Creep method templates which are suitable for creating twist to failure and twist to a hold level type test methods. Such tests are often required for wire, fasteners, components and tooling.

ReplyDeleteControl mode can be selected on the Test Control -->Test page of the method setup. The default control mode is Extension (crosshead position).
